I'm not ashamed to say I'm a Monarchist. I love the Royal Family, what they stand for, and what they allow our country to stand for. I watched bits and pieces of the wedding this morning in between cries for waffles and Curious George hunts. Toby sat with me as they left the church. This is living history people, and we get to see all the things that go with it, not just the parts that are remembered in the history books.
Loving the whole thing!
Have I ever told you about my interview at Buckingham Palace? No? Well that's a story for another day!

I love the Royal Family. I caught bits and pieces of the wedding this morning in between getting ready for work. I also taped all 7 hours of coverage on NBC to start watching tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic event!
I'm a Monarchist like you. I remember being awakened at 4:45am in July 1981 for Charles and Diana's wedding :-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this weekend's wedding immensely...the Brits epitomize class and elegance when they are in the mood :-)
ah, i thought it was magical too! i love the royal family, i think it's so neat that there is still a "royal family." and of course, i thought i was going to marry prince william when i was little. i think kate is a lovely choice though- and yes, her dress was just beautiful!
