Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas Gift

I married into a family of hoarders and collectors - that's okay - I come from one as well. One of the collections is Hallmark Christmas Ornaments. Every year Husby's Grandparents buy each grandchild a Hallmark ornament. It's an open early present so that it can be enjoyed for the whole season. They buy themselves the same one for each grandchild so they have many trees, I'm not sure if they hang them all! When Husby and I got married we got our first joint "open early"

A clip on - how did they know!

I treasure each ornament they send, this one was given the year we brought our house and is especially dear to me for that reason.
However this one from last year is my favourite and may remain so for many years...

Everyone was excited for Toby's first Open Early last year...

But this year was even more special because he opened it himself. He is obsessed with puppies so it is especially appropriate.
I try and buy a few in the sale after Christmas - I could easily go nuts with ornaments at the Hallmark store.
