Welcome to the fall edition of What I wore Wednesday. I am linking with the Pleated Poppy again after many months absence because I have become frumpy once more and need a motivator - bless you for providing that Lindsay!
So here we have last Wednesday - the day I decided to do this again - can you see why?Pants - Eddie Bauer 2005
Sweater - Marks and Spencers (UK) - a hand me down from my 80 something year old Nan (Grandmother)
Shoes - Far too ugly to post
Hair - Please someone send me a stylist fast - this is not a drill!! You missed the pigtails that started this day but believe me it was scary. I should add as a disclaimer that I have not had a haircut since December 2008. Seriously.
Skirt - Eddie Bauer (two sizes too big)
Shoes - England - Asda
Cardigan - LL Bean (one size too small)
Sweater - Unsure but it was another of my Nan's!
Then that evening for mum's group at Church
Hat - street
Hat - street vendor in NYC
Fleece Lined Flannel shirt - LL Bean - everyone should own one of these
Down Vest - LL Bean
Scarf - The Gap
Shoes (that tone as you walk) - Walmart
This outfit I love, comfy, practical and somewhat stunning I think anyway. I wore this for the long drive to Connecticut as well
Dress - Target many moons ago
Sweater - a Christmas present last year
SATURDAY - Thanksgiving in Connecticut
Pants - Kohl's - Levi's
Green shirt - J Crew hand me down
Sweater - unsure - another hand me down
Hair - awful again
Skirt - Gap (2004) I think I hate it but I used to love it
Sweater - from Nan again but oh how I love this colour
Vest - Eddie Bauer
Shoes - so old they are now two tone on the toes
Shirt - Eddie Bauer (2004)
Sweater - cast off from a friend of my Mother in Law
Skirt - H&M England (from before they made a move to the US)
Shoes - Clarks - love them!
Hair - washed the night before and plaited - yuck!
I really don't like wearing pants at the moment for some reason but I don't have enough wintry skirts, dresses and tights to get me through. Surprisingly I'm not big on layering so there's only so far I can stretch my collection (which is vast enough).
The other thing bugging me at the moment is my hair. To perm or not to perm? Or do I just hack it all off? Do I get bangs? These are the dilemma's I face.
Contrary to the pictures above and my pointed hands, I was not a ballet dancer in a former life!
Hope you dressed well this week!
